This Saturday, July 11, 18th Street Arts Center will present award-winning filmmaker and video artist Kate Johnson, and her latest work EVERYWHERE in BETWEEN.  It will be shown at Bergamot Station Art Center, 2525 Michigan Avenue in Santa Monica.

Enveloping the buildings in light, shadows, and video projections, Johnson transforms the campus into a single art installation which incorporates site-specific contemporary dance, projections, and illumination.  She has invited collaborators, Greg Christy, Pennington Dance Group, Lili Haydn and the band, Kate Crash & the UFO Club (featuring Michael Maio, and Victoria Looseleaf and others). Live performances in light, dance, music, and spoken word will be highlighted throughout the evening. The performance will take place from 8pm to 10:30pm.

dnj Gallery is extending our evening hours until 8pm.
