Moderator Ted Meyer will lead a lively/fun/in-depth discussion between patient-artists with IBD and medical professional/doctors. The discussion will cover how art can give a true picture of the lived experiences of an IBD patient, how it can tell us about illness in ways that simple diagnostic text can’t and how it can give doctors insight into their patient medical
needs and mental state.
